The topics: Côte d’Ivoire became Friday 26 February the second country to receive a COVAX vaccine shipment. The West African country received 504,000 doses of lifesaving COVID-19 vaccine. Philippe Poinsot, the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Côte d’Ivoire announced that the country will start its vaccination campaign on Monday, becoming the first African country to roll out its vaccination campaign against the COVID-19 pandemic.
