The topics: Millions of children’s lives are at stake following disruptions to their routine vaccinations in 2020 as immunization services were stalled by COVID-19. Now vulnerable to deadly diseases, these millions of children can benefit from efforts launched by the World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. During World Immunization Week, the partners highlighted the urgent need for a renewed global commitment to improve vaccination access and uptake.
