The topics: BTS, the global sensation behind “Permission to Dance” and other megahits, brought their spotlight to the United Nations as the Republic of Korea’s Special Presidential Envoys for Future Generations and Culture. BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook participated in the UN’s SDG Moment, designed to call attention to the Sustainable Development Goals. The BTS members, along with South Korean President Moon Jae-in, spoke with the UN’s Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications, Melissa Fleming, about their commitment to helping advance progress through the United Nations.
