The United Nations of Earth reporting on this issue: "South Africa facilitates DNA sample collection for paternity claims against peacekeepers in the DRC"
The topics: As part of efforts to address misconduct and work towards accountability, the Republic of South Africa visited the Democratic Republic of the Congo to facilitate DNA profiling towards paternity and child support claims filed against their peacekeepers. The UN works closely with Member States to support this important step in support of victims of sexual exploitation and abuse.
