Japan: Let’s Learn about Global Goals! | United Nations in Action


The United Nations of Earth reporting on this issue: "Japan: Let’s Learn about Global Goals! | United Nations in Action"
The topics: In the small coastal Japanese city of Hakui, elementary students visit local shops to learn how the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are incorporated in their businesses. They are making “SDG newspapers” for their school and the city. The SDGs, also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
