BREAKING: Trump Appointed Federal Judge Makes VERY ODD ruling in new Mar-a-Lago Search Case

Judge Aileen Cannon, an Article III Federal Judge appointed by Trump on 2020, made an unusual ruling that she “intends” to appoint a special master in connection with the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago. Judge Cannon is not the judge who signed the warrant. That judge is Magistrate Judge Reinhardt. Trump has made no filings before Judge Reinhardt despite the search warrant having been issued three weeks ago and so it is likely the FBI has already reviewed all of the records. Judge Cannon has given the government until August 30 to respond despite the fact that the government has not even been served.
