The call from the youth at COP27 is clear: they want the establishment of a loss and damage finance facility that can provide funding to help developing nations adjust to and limit the impacts of climate change. Currently, developing countries are forced to pay very high costs to recover from climate-induced disasters, and the youth believe that it is time for big polluters to pay their ecological debt. “It is about reparation and social justice” says Bruno Rodriguez, an Argentine climate activist attending COP27 in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. #cop27 #actnow #unitednations
