“Ijun’s Future: Foresight for Peace” is developed by the UN Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (UN DPPA). The video follows a youth peacebuilder active in the Republic of Korea and the wider Northeast Asian region as she narrates and engages with foresight methods. It encourages viewers to think about futures thinking in programming and policymaking from a youth perspective, inviting viewers to think about how youth engage with the methodology in contexts of uncertainty and change. “Ijun’s Future: Foresight for Peace” is a video about futures thinking and foresight. The aim is to provide a perspective of foresight methodology from the perspective of a Northeast Asian youth activist. Viewers are encouraged to think about a democratized future and the work required in the present to catalyze actions for a preferred future.
