This orchestra has been our "machine" for the past six years, its individual parts are the members, each one building their musical skills and developing in character as people.
And we are here to celebrate the work of a great artist - Martin Molin, builder of the original Marble Machine as well as the new MMX!
Our arrangement hopes to capture the essence of the original song, but also how the design of the new machine spirals to greater heights. Martin - if you get to see this, we want to thank you for the inspiration you give us - to not give up on our dreams!
"Die Kunste Fabriek" Orchestra is a project, based in Pretoria South Africa. It's focus is to bring an orchestra experience to school children.
Students between ages 10 to 18 may enter, with the minimum musical standard of Grade 1. Strings, woodwind, brass, as well as recorder and percussion players, are welcome.
