Have you ever revisited a movie, show or game that you really liked when you were younger and noticed how much problematic content there is in it?
I have. And it's made me feel a bit guilty. I like a lot of older sitcoms, but a lot of shows from the 2000s contain a substantial amount of poorly aged content, especially stuff that mocks vulnerable groups. While I don't excuse it, it makes me wonder whether it's still okay for me to enjoy the entire product, knowing that there are parts that have soured with age.
So how can we possibly enjoy something knowing that it has some serious flaws, and where do you draw the line?
