Produced by United Nations
Football is the world's most popular sport, reaching people across every region, culture and generation. Its influence extends well beyond the pitch, shaping attitudes, inspiring action and creating conversations on some of the world's most pressing challenges.
The United Nations Football for the Goals (FFTG) initiative brings together nearly 500 football organizations worldwide to harness this global reach in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through advocacy, community engagement and practical action, FFTG members and Champions are demonstrating how football can contribute to more sustainable, inclusive and resilient societies. This SDG Media Zone conversation will bring together three influential voices
from football to explore how the game can drive change on issues ranging from gender equality and women's economic empowerment to racial inclusion, environmental sustainability, mental health and responsible use of social media.
The SDG Media Zone convenes influential voices to translate global priorities into compelling public conversations that inspire action.
