UN Chief commemorates fallen peacekeepers | United Nations
The United Nations observed the 77th International Day of UN Peacekeepers, honouring their service and sacrifice. Since 1948, over 2 million peacekeepers have served in 71 operations. Over 4,400 peacekeepers have fallen in the line of duty, including 57 in 2024.
